The latest on Kentland: STATter 911 has learned that Kentland VFD has suspended Chief Tony Kelleher. Kelleher was one of those seen in the videos that recently surfaced. Unlike other public incidents involving Kentland in recent years, this is the first time Kentland VFD has taken action. The question now is will Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Chief Lawrence Sedgwick see it as enough punishment to fit the crime.

Routley blasts Kentland: Chief Sedgwick calls the videos “disturbing” and “unprofessional”. Kentland VFD even calls the actions on the videos “inexcusable”. Chief Gordon Routley goes quite a bit further in a brief, but very direct assessment of Kentland. Click here.

City now has a Few stations: They are closing firehouses in Atlanta and in his old department in East Point, GA, but Demopolis, AL Chief Ron Few is bucking the trend and opened one.
