Chief 1 arrived on location with a single story dwelling, fire showing from the Charlie side of the structure, he then established the St. Margaret’s Drive Command. Engine 11 arrived dropping the 4’ inch supply line at the drive and Engine 14 picking up there line. 11’s crew deployed a 1 ¾ handline to the seat of the fire, making a push through the structure while encountering heavy fire, throughout the entire residence. While, operating Engine 11s office advised command the floor had been compromised on the bravo/delta corner, and crews were to use extreme caution. Heavy fire was found in multiple rooms, and attic spaces, all ceiling had to be pulled in order to extinguish the fire. A double fixed roof made it tough for crews to extinguish the fire in many void spaces in the attic area. Truck 1 arrived and was assigned the first due special assignment along with Engine 74.
