Video above shot by D.M. Harris at a fire Friday morning in the Town of Newburgh, New York (Orange County).
From an article by Doyle Murphy at Times Herald-Record:
The fire began in the middle of the Algonquin Plaza on South Plank Road. Winona Lake fire Chief Andrew Colurciello said the fire came into contact with a flame-retardant wall at the western edge of Monell's Camera shop and turned back toward the rest of the plaza. The flames raced below a common roof, bursting through in places to rise in fiery columns.
Colurciello lives nearby and arrived within a minute or two of the 8:35 a.m. call to find black smoke pouring out. The call quickly escalated to a third alarm, and firefighters from Cronomer Valley, Orange Lake, Goodwill and Coldenham soon joined Winona Lake.
