Video above shows the bail out of firefighters from a house fire last (Saturday) night in San Antonio, Texas.

WOAI-TV:

Three firefighters needed to be evacuated from a burning house Saturday night on the city’s East Side.

Emergency crews were called to 919 Virginia Blvd at about 8 p.m. for reports of a fire. Authorities said the fire started with a small gas leak in the stove, igniting a fire that claimed the entire house. Three firefighters were trapped inside during what is called a “flash over” and escaped through the front window without injuries.

Alexandro M. Luna, mySA:

Three firefighters narrowly escaped what (Captain Brandon) Schultz called a “flashover,” at the fire’s peak. A ‘flashover’ is when heat and smoke ignite everything in the area, creating a blast of flames.

“It happens from time to time,” Schultz said. “EMS looked and evaluated (the three), there were no injuries.”
