Thanks to IAFF Local 1492 for alerting STATter911.com to the new HD video that clearly shows a Dekalb County (GA) Fire Rescue Department captain catching a child dropped from the top of a ladder at an apartment fire on January 3.
According to IAFF Local 1492, “Third generation DCFR firefighter Captain Scott Stroup can be seen catching one of the children that was dropped from the third floor balcony.”
During that same fire Captain Jackie Peckrul also caught a child dropped into her arms.
