Lots of video from yesterday’s (Friday) multi-alarm fire in a Fall River, Massachusetts hardware store. The clip above shows a partial collapse of the building. The one immediately below has the collapse at the end of the video (6:47). Thanks to @miseriavolare on Twitter for sending this to STATter911.com.
A Fall River hardware store collapsed after a massive fire destroyed the business, and left firefighters battling flames for hours in the bitter cold.
The fire started around 3:45 p.m. at Flint Hardware on Pleasant Street, in the Flint section of the city. Fire Chief John Lynch said the owner, Manuel Botelho, was the only person inside at the time.

Amazingly, the two homes on either side of Flint Hardware in Fall River were not severely damaged by fire. Crews were able to keep water on the buildings to prevent them from catching. pic.twitter.com/Mdq7lPq53Y

Flint Hardware in Fall River is destroyed by fire. The owner was the only one inside and tells me he escaped with his parrots and dog, but his cat died. @wpri12 pic.twitter.com/XEKXcVyzqv
