Crawled out of my winter hibernation for a few minutes today (Friday) to shoot some smartphone video of a house fire not far from the STATter911.com World Headquarters. Fairfax County firefighters made a good quick knock on the afternoon fire in the 4300 block of Cavalier Corridor. I fully expect someone to say that I am not Rhoda Young with the camera.
For those who follow the goings on in Fairfax County, STATter911 will soon be getting some beefed up fire/EMS protection (remember, it’s always about me). A temporary fire station is mostly finished at South Street and Annandale Road. That’s where Station 18 (Jefferson) will be working out of until at least sometime in 2019 as a new station is built to replace its current 1950s model (see Facebook post below the tweets).
