A toddler rescued from a burning apartment building on Wednesday is still in critical condition at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, her mother saying it’s a miracle she survived.
“I thought she was gone,” said Brittany Jamerson, the two-year-old girl’s mother.
In a frenzy, Jamerson said she jumped out the bedroom window, but her two-year-old Ken’daja was still inside. It’s a choice Jamerson said is still eating her up inside.
“I beat myself up and I say what if I would have thrown her out the window first, but I don’t want to hurt her trying to throw her out the window,” questioned Jamerson. “It was just devastating.”
