Justice Wm. Moyer, The Washington Post:
A firefighter and five residents of an apartment building were injured Tuesday in a fire in Prince George’s County, authorities said.
At about 7:15 a.m., firefighters responded to a two-story apartment building at Carriage Hill Apartments in the 3300 block of Curtis Drive in Hillcrest Heights on a report of a fire, Prince George’s County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady said.
Minutes later, evacuation tones were sounded and firefighters were ordered to leave the building immediately, Brady said. He said the fire had extended to the attic and roof area of the building.
