Eight Prince George’s County career firefighters are under investigation over reports of hazing centered around Station 29 (Silver Hill). A captain is among the eight who have been temporarily removed from emergency operations and given administrative positions while the investigation continues.
The story was reported first by WRC-TV/NBC4 reporter Tracee Wilkins who tweeted (Friday) afternoon that “A source tells News4 some people were injured.” Wilikins said the victims were treated like fraternity pledges. Other than that, there are no details on exactly what happened, when it occurred and who were the victims.
