Early video, above and below, from Skyler Fire and THEMAJESTIRIUM1, taken during a fire this (Friday) morning on South 18th Street in Newark, New Jersey. Earlier in the morning there was a two-alarm fire on Avon Avenue. The last two videos, also from Skyler Fire and THEMAJESTIRIUM1, are from Avon Avenue fire.
Our second fire of the morning came in a short distance from the Avon Avenue multi-family blaze at approximately 5:30 a.m.
According to fire officials, heavy fire tore through the roof of a three-story wood framed house located in the 900 block of South 18th Street where crews, who were battling the house fire on Avenue Avenue, headed to this blaze.
