Tower ladder hoisting US flag in PA tips over on car — radio traffic

Flag being flown for Memorial Day in Bucks County

This is Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company’s Tower 24. It tipped over while hoisting a large U.S. flag in honor of Memorial Day. A car on the roadway below was hit. No word on injuries. Radio traffic below from Philly FireFeed.


Officials say the truck was placed outside the fire company to display a flag over Route 611.

When the crew went to reposition the truck the vehicle tipped over. The ladder struck a car on Route 611.

Police confirm there are minor injuries, however they could not say how many people were hurt.
