A court commissioner says Myers is charged with first-degree arson, first- and second-degree malicious burning and two counts each of first-degree child abuse resulting in death and first-degree murder. A bail review is set for 1 p.m. Friday.

A medical examiner found that 12-year-old Mary and 15-year-old Nicole Gross died from smoke inhalation with burns in Monday’s fire. Myers and the girls’ mother, Melissa Lindeman, escaped with injuries.

Investigators have said the fire started in the basement, but have not announced a cause.
