Sunday morning’s service of sorts was in Sammy Smith’s front yard.
The founder of Grace Cathedral Ministries in Piedmont went Live on Facebook to praise God as Simpsonville Fire Department and some neighbors put water on the flames that burst out of the second story windows.
“It doesn’t matter who you are, it doesn’t matter what you do, tragedy and circumstances can happen, you know?” he said, “You just have to be able to roll with the punches sometimes.”
