This is video and radio traffic from mcfdtv of the September 18 3-alarm fire at 525 North 1st Street in Shamokin, Pennsylvania (Northumberland County). STATter911 previously shared arrival and helmet-cam video from this fire.
mcfdtv points our attention to the raising of the ground ladder starting at about :16 into the video. Control is soon lost and the ladder bounces off the wires. According to mcfdtv the power had already been cut by PP&L.
So, if power is already cut, can we even call this a close call? Either way, it certainly is an important reminder.
