Zachary Paris & Marvin Gruber identified as PA firefighters killed in house fire
Paris was hired by Frederick County this year & leaves behind wife and two young daughters

The two firefighters killed in the Pennsylvania house fire yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon have been identified as 59-year-old Firefighter Marvin Gruber and 36-yeaar-old Assistant Chief Zachary Paris of the Community Fire Company in New Tripoli (Lehigh County). One resident of the house was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound near the home. Pennsylvania State Police say the two firefighters became trapped while searching for a person initially reported to still be in the house.
Assistant Chief Paris was also a relatively new career firefighter in Frederick County, Maryland (more below).

According to the Northampton Community College website, Gruber was the assistant chief of the school’s department of public safety.
