Two firefighters were shot at a fire station in Birmingham Wednesday morning.
The firefighters were doing routine morning maintenance in the Norwood area at Station 9 on 27th Street North.
The bay door was open, and a man or men entered the building, Police Chief Scott Thurmond said. The shooting happened inside the station around 8:30 a.m., Captain Orlando Reynolds said.
