Early video from Matt Rettmer showing the initial attack from what became a two-alarm fire yesterday (Friday) in an abandoned building that once housed the Dead Beat Night Club in Denver, Colorado.
Around 16:45 Denver Firefighters were dispatched to a commercial structure fire at 4040 E. Evans Avenue. At the same time additional companies were responding to a reported apartment fire at 925 Niagra Street. First due Engine 24 laid dual supply lines from Colorado & Evans and sized up heavy smoke showing from every opening of the abandoned Dead Beat Night Club.
