Early video from PGFD apartment fire with rescues from balconies
Below are early videos and pictures from an apartment fire this (Tuesday) morning in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Pay close attention to the last five seconds of the first video. As the person being rescued gets on the ladder, the balcony railing buckles under the weight and causes a significant shifting of the ladder.
Several occupants of an apartment complex in Lanham were rescued from their balconies Tuesday morning after fire spread through their building.
Emergency crews responded to the fire at around 6:30 a.m. on the 9900 block of Good Luck Road.
